• Question: which cancer can cause the most harm?

      Almost all cancers have the potential to be quite harmful if they’re not treated. However some cancers are very easy to treat (some types of skin cancer can be removed at the doctors without even having to be put to sleep!). Other cancers don’t respond very well to the drugs we have available and can’t be removed by surgery due to where they’re growing (brain cancer for example or pancreatic cancer).

      There isn’t one single cancer which is the “worst” or the “most harmful” – as a general rule, cancer is easier to treat if it is detected earlier and some cancers respond better to treatment than others.
