Question: How much more research do you think is needed before a cure is made?

Cancer is a group of hundreds of different diseases rather than one disease. There will never be a movie magic moment when cancer is said to be cured. We do however make great gains each year with new drugs that can extend life, improve quality of life or even stop a specific disease in its tracks for a proportion of cancer patients. Not all patients respond to a drug that other patients do.
