Because I like my job as a cancer doctor, and it’s a good mix with cancer research, because I’d like to find new ways to tackle cancer for my patients!

Understanding how cancer develops is complex, and interesting. Addressing what is known and unknown is an adventure itself. Embedding yourself in a scientific community helps you to grow as an investigator. This effort ultimately pushes science forward and benefits patients. These are some of the reasons why I decided to pursue this path as a cancer researcher.

I wanted to do something with my career where I could help people, directly or indirectly. In my case, I chose indirectly by going into science research, but I also considered a career in teaching too.
