It’s not upsetting, it just makes me realise that my job is all the more important. There are many scientists who work hard in trying to make things to cure diseases . This a very hard task, but we have many medicines today which work really well. My job is to help find out if people have a particular disease. Doctors can then give these people the right medicine to cure them. I have to make sure that I tell them the correct result, otherwise someone may not get the cure they need. It’s important for me to know new diseases caused by bugs which might infect people in the future. Scientists can then help to find out if the people have a particular bug. Knowing what we can’t cure helps scientists to know what work still needs to be done.
