• Question: why does the body get goose bumps when u are cold?

      To raise you hairs, in the cold it means your hairs are raised and this traps air between the hairs and the skin and keeping you warm. In response to being afraid, it is meant to scare away the enemy!

      These responses evolved a long time ago, and are probably more relevant in the animal world, because humans have relatively few hairs!
