I have quite a few, I can’t remember them all though, and haven’t completed all of them,
Half Life 2 Orange Box
Fall Out 3 and expansion Packs
Fall Out: Las Vegas
Fear (one of the best horror games), Fear 2
Gears of War 1,2,3
Bioshock 1,2
Batman Arkham Asylum, City
Left for Dead 2
Call of Duty Black Ops
LA Noire
Alan Wake
Halo 1,2,3,ODST, Reach, 10th Anniversary
Oblivion
Battlefield 3
Lost Odyssey
Dead Space 1,2
Guitar Hero 2, Aerosmith
To be honest I think the list is pretty endless. The games I’m playing at the moment though are The Witcher 2, Max Payne 3 and Ghost Recon Future Soldier!
I’m of the belief there most certainly is. A lot of computer scientists I know went into games design after leaving university in order to test systems to their limits, in much the same way scientists are pushing the limits of technology in research.
In the terms of the games themselves, recent game narratives such as that in “Bioshock” deal with very complex scientific issues such as genetics, medical ethics and the entrainment of politics within science. To some extent, I would argue that games are at the precipice of becoming an effective device to communicate moral and scientific issues, which the majority of films cannot achieve effectively (at least in mainstream cinema anyway).
