• Question: How well are your experiments going?

      Hmm, that’s a tricky one, it seems to change day by day! In general I am making good progress towards answering some questions that I am interested in at the moment but not everything works as you hope it might. Some days the experiment doesn’t go well so you just have to try again in a slightly different way to see if you can get it to work better next time. You have to be quite determined and keep trying but when eventually something works out it can be very satisfying.

    Just to add to this- When I came in this morning to check on the experiment I was running overnight I found that it had finally worked after several weeks of trying! I changed a few different things and I’m very pleased it worked out this time 🙂
