• Question: why did you study what you do is their a story or is it through interest?

      Mostly through interest, but also through collaborations with colleagues. When I was a teen I wanted to prove that there was no God, that it was all coming from our brains – but then I moved on!

      A bit of both. Interest serves as motivation, and you present your work as a story that others could follow and comment upon.

      I was enjoyed science in school and that interest has continued. There isn’t a particular story behind why I study Alzheimer’s disease, I just find it a really interesting and important problem to solve.

      I liked psychology since I was very young although I preferred journalism and that’s why I became a sports journalist initially. However, I enjoyed psychology at school, and at some pointed I decided to study. So, it was through interest really.
