• Question: what is your favourite thing about science

      That new things are discovered all the time. I actual like lots of different fields of science, I like reading about science news in many domain and subscribed to a science magazine for years. As a job, my favourite thing about working in science is how varied it is, I have to give talks, analyse data, make nice figures and graphs, program experiments, think about new studies, interact with participants, work with other researchers and my own students. So my days are pretty varied, even though I do spend a lot of time working on computers!

      I love it when I have to travel to share my findings with scientists and other people in parts of the world I’ve never been.
