Question: What is the new drug that is being tested to slow down dementia?

Drug research is not my area of expertise, although I’ve been involved in clinical trials with Huntington’s disease patients. Having said that, currently the drugs used target specific symptoms of dementia and not dementia altogether. So for example, a drug may target memory problems but may have zero effect on other symptoms such as emotion problems.
