• Question: How long do you think it will take for AI to be as smart or even smarter than Humans (able to think for themselves), or we use AI or computers in our own brains to extend our memory or intelligence? Would it even be possible or likely?

Computers can already do some basic thinking and can even learn new things that have not been programmed in. A recent example is an artificial intelligence that could learn the most efficient way to navigate the London Underground network by itself. However, this is far from the full-scale of human complexity. Artificial intelligence is roughly at the computational power of a worm at the moment. So, I think that it’s fair to say that we are quite a long way off from machines overtaking our intellectual ability.
