• Question: why do you get wrinkles

      You can get wrinkles for a couple of reasons.
      When you get older, some of the elasticity (stretchy-ness) in the skin gets lost, so the skin sags a bit which causes wrinkles.

      Also, you may notice in the bath that your fingers go pruney when they’ve been under the water a while. These wrinkles are caused because your outer layer of skin starts to absorb water after a while, but it doesn’t do so evenly across the skin, so it expands at different rates!
