• Question: what is the biggest risk you have ever taken? what is adrenaline?

      Hmm, I’m not sure what the biggest risk I’ve ever taken is! I’m not much of a daredevil, so I haven’t bungee jumped or anything like that.

      They say that crossing the road is more dangerous than a lot of these things anyway, and I did that a number of times this morning, so maybe I DO take risks a lot 🙂

      Adrenaline is a hormone in the body that is released when we feel under threat. It increases our heart rate, contracts our blood vessels, and dilates air passages. The main purpose of these functions is to prepare our body to be able to ‘flee or fight’. Our heightened blood pressure and ability to inhale air more quickly means we’re primed to burn energy by running or fighting, our body is in ‘action’ mode!
