• Question: If people donate there bodies to science is it not as good because the body is not alive? What things would be difficult to find out as the body is dead?

      Hi @lidivampire
      Great question!
You’re right, because the body is not alive, you can’t see how something (like a drug for example) would affect a living person. Donating your body to science is good to teach medical students about anatomy. Also, if you have an unusual disease, it’s really good to donate your body so that scientists can have a look at it and try and work out more about the disease.

But you’re right, it’s not as good as a living body. But obviously you can’t test some things on a living body, it would be dangerous and unethical!

Hope this answers your question 🙂
