• Question: i have fainted 2 times in science? could you explain why?!

      Hmm, were you doing something a bit gross? Or had you just got up?
      We can faint for different reasons, but the cause is a lack of blood to the head. For example I have quite low blood pressure, so sometimes when I stand up quickly if I’ve been sitting or lying down I can faint, or usually I just go a bit wobbly and have to lean on a wall, or a friend!

      I’m not sure why we faint when we see something disgusting…maybe it’s an emotional physiological response – our body responds to our strong emotion in a way that makes us faint – it may make our blood pressure drop, for example.

      Sorry I can’t be specific to you in your science class, but I hope this helps a bit!
