• Question: How did scientists know the big bang actually created the Earth?

      Great question!
      How can scientists know this happened, when no-one was there?
      Actually scientists think the Big Bang created the Universe, and the earth was created billions of years after the big bang.
      I’m not a space scientist so I don’t know all the answers, but the people who have been studying this have looked at all the evidence from planets, stars and galaxies, and this is the best theory they can come up with. They’re willing to be proved wrong, but only by better evidence for a different theory, and at the moment there isn’t any.
