      Hello again, this is another very good question! The answer is that it is already possible to implant computer chips into the brain – in fact scientists have explored how neural implants placed on the surface on the brain can help people with different types of brain damage like Parkinson’s disease for example.

      So in theory, yes it is possible for humans to have computer chips implanted into the brain to help with memory. However, there are many different types of memory like long-term memory (stored information from last year), short-term memory (stored information from 10 minutes ago), and working memory (what you use when you do maths to hold the numbers in your mind). So I think it will be some time before scientists work out how to make a chip that can work with different types of memories.
