• Question: Why do we have a left side of the brain which do spercific jobs that the right can not do ?

      Here is one possibility. If different parts of the brain are specialised for different types of processing, like language or memory, this means that there is less chance of losing everything if one part is damaged. Think about the brain like a computer where you store different types of music: you might have Lady Gaga in one folder and Black Eyed Peas in another. If you accidentally delete one folder you may lose your Lady Gaga but you would keep your Black Eyed Peas. Efficient right?!
