      The brain uses 20% of your bodys energy (see – important to feed your brain as well as your tummy) but makes up only 2% of your weight.

      Hi 🙂 Woo, a tough question! I love the fact that brain cells and chemicals in the brain literally make us the people we are-how we think, how we behave etc. I find that crazy that such complex things are made by cells and chemicals.

      How much it weighs! The average adult brain weighs about 1.5 kilograms (one and a half large boxes of cornflakes). A 3 month old baby brain weighs about 0.5 kilograms (half a large box of cornflakes).
