      Really! Well not as much as a good Drummer. I get paid £1,070 a month, not bad really.

      I earn Japanese money so it is millions in yen… but sadly that doesn’t convert to pounds! It is hard to compare as the cost of living here is different. Most people doing similar jobs to me early in their career earn from 25-30000 pounds in the UK (sorry my Japanese keyboard doesn’t have a pound sign).

      Heard recently that it’s going to be increased to about £39,000 per year :-). I’m 33, and did my PhD 7 years ago, so its not too bad a salary
