Theoretically, yes. In practice, not yet. What you would need to do is get hold of some dinosaur DNA (e.g. from some fossilised mosquito blood as in Jurassic Park) and inject it into the egg (minus DNA) of a similar creature (maybe a lizard?) that is alive today. I believe some people have suggested resurrecting the wooly mammoth by injecting its DNA into elephant eggs
Not at present, if ever. One speculation familiar to movie goers is that you might find enough intact dinasaur dna preserved in something like amber and use this dna in the egg of a related species to start the process. Few scientists believe the dna would be well preserved enough to do this even if we had the ability. Very recently a scientist who has decoded the DNA of a bacterium inserted new DNA into an existing shell. This is probably the very beginnings of mankind trying to make creatures. We have a long, long, long way to go.
Interesting question! Resurrection is bringing things back from the dead so in that sense I don’t think we could bring back the same dinosaurs that were once on the planet. However research is being done to bring back the mammoth by injecting DNA from fossils in to elephant eggs. female eggs contain DNA too so we are unlikely to get a mammoth but instead something very like one and perhaps something like this could be done for dinosaurs one day.
Thanks for your question! Have you seen Juarassic Park? I fully believe that one day this will be possible! It sounds kind of nuts right? But scientists are already cloning animals – and you may have seen in the news recently that scientists have just discovered how to make cells from scratch. I personally think that this is just the beginning and anything is possible 100 years into the future. Science is discovery after all!
Good point picklez. This is also a common debate in conservation if an animal is going extinct should it matter if it is cute and fluffy like a panda or should we just allow nature to runs its course and have extinctions and the generation of new species.

I think it would just be to much effort to ressurect a species which has failed before.
