      Hi! There are many veins in the brain. The biggest one is the cerebral vein which many other veins join on to. In fact, if this vein swells up too much it can cause a stroke. The veins in the brain can be inside or outside the brain (on the surface) to ensure that blood can be carried all around it. I think there are over 100 veins in the brain.
