      Some people may have the capacity to be more intelligent than others-everyone is different and is good at different things. Some people excel at school and some people are more practical. But we need a variety of talents to keep our society good!

      ‘Intelligence’ (as measured by IQ scores) tends to run in families, and is partly affected by genes and partly by the environment you are brought up in (access to good education, good food, lots of exercise, enciouraging parents etc.). People who are more curious and more ambitious are likely to be more knowldegeable than those that aren’t as they will seek out the answers to questions they want answered

      I think genetics tend to give us our potential to be intelligent but it is then up to us to put the work in.

      Hello again! Scientists think that intelligence is mainly a genetic thing but it’s true that if you are keener at learning you are also more likely to be more intelligent because you will seek out educational activities like reading, visiting science museums, watching documentaries – things like that.
