      There is some evidence that men are over-represented at the high end of the IQ scale, and also at the low end (probably due to them only having one X chromosome, for a variety of complicated reasons). Females tend to cluster around the average IQ score of 100 much more. On average, the sexes score equally on IQ scores. However, there is quite a bit of controversy as to whether IQ scores reflect ‘smartness’
