      Fat is less dense compared to water and so when you mix them together the fat will stay on the surface….you can mix olive oil in a glass of water and you will see it float!!! Density is the ratio between weight and volume and any material floats if it is less dense than water or another liquid …on the contrary muscle and bones are more dense than water and they will sink
