• Question: why do trumps smell?!

      I was waiting for this one. Some gases like hydrogen sulphide make trumps smell (that’s the eggy smell) others are volatile compounds produced by the bacteria in our colon. That’s why beans are great for trumps they contain lots of fibre that the bacteria ferment to produce lots of smelly gas

      Duane’s answer is spot on. Certain foods when broken down in the gut release certain gases, some of which smell when released

      great answers! what we eat has a massive impact on how smelly our trumps are and can impact how often we trump too!
