      I assume that you refer to the blood plasma?

      Our blood plasma is to “carry” a variety of substance, nutrients, hormones, growth factors, oxygen and our blood cells, and many others across the body.

      I agree with Theresia’s
      In science it is also something we do lots of tests on. You can measure lots of things in it from cholesterol and adeponectin through to von Willebrand factor (couldn’t think of full A-Z)
