      it’s called erythrocytes 🙂

      This time our Greek friends gave the name of “erythrocytes”…erythros = red kytos= hollow vessel

      Erythrocytes is the correct name, some older text books may call the red corpuscles which means small floating bodies. I might be showing my age here?
