• Question: if we eat too much unhealthy food what happens to our body ?

      Hello there,

      Our body is meant to be selective, take what it is needed and dispose what is not needed. When there is excess/ unwanted substance, our body (liver especially!) works hard to detoxify, transforms the substance to a friendlier alternative, gets rid of it, or… simply stores it. But we just can’t store too much because even if there is enough space to store, the substance (anything from fat to sugar to vitamins) will disturb the “body balance” called homeostasis. Every organ works hard every single second to maintain this balance, so if we eat too much unhealthy food the organs will get tired sometimes and this is when we start having illnesses…
