I agree with Theresia. Its all about leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Once a person becomes obese firstly we need to idnetify the common factors that have lead to putting th e weight on and start to address each thing bit by bit. It is quite a lenghty process to undo as it will have more than likely taken that person several years to put on the weight to be classified as obese. There is a big emphasis on using behaviour change theories and techniques and assessing a person’s readiness to change before the process of beginning to start to lose weight occurs. So even though the underlying message of lead a healthy balanced lifestyle is quite simple, actually being able to do that isn;t so simple.
