• Question: how do vaccines work?

      Vaccine works by allowing our immune system to “learn” about the bacteria that may cause disease without necessarily making the body ill. This is because the vaccine is the “weak prototype” of the actual germs. The germs can’t harm us because their power to attack our cells have been taken, but their identity is still intact. We may get a bit of fever but usually we’ll be well after a couple of days 🙂

      I also think that they are a way of programming the ‘memory’ of our immune system so that when the disease arrives in futureit can be dealt with more quickly and makes you less unwell
