0 Question: what affects the brain and how decisions are made ?? Keywords: neuroscience Asked by alastairosborne to Kat, Andrew, Katie, Sadaf on 20 Jun 2013.
Andrew Swale answered on 20 Jun 2013:
Scientists say decision-making involves two regions of the brain: your ‘valuation network’ and your ‘cognitive control’
The valuation network provides information on what is rewarding around you, and the cognitive control is what keeps this in check!
Damage to these brain regions can therefore affect our decision-making
