• Question: as a female scientist do you get treated any different to male scientists or do you get treated equally?

      It’s difficult to say – I’ve worked hard and am at a position which I’m happy with.
      There are more men in science than women, but there are lots of people working to get a better balance. The problem is at all stages of scientific education/careers, so we need to work with girls at school, and women in academic positions to make sure they realise they’re potential in science!
