  It is becoming more and more obvious that computers will be everywhere soon. I believe that coding at least to a low level will be an important requirement for everyone just like reading and writing. Therefore I think young people should have at least some basic coding skills. It is not however the case for everyone yet so I believe that it should be promoted a bit more
