Cancer is quite an interesting disease since it occurs on different organs and treatment and cure can be complicated. If we hopefully beat cancer there are brain conditions that we don’t know much about like Dementia, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. We have started getting an understanding on them but not to the point where we can cure it. Diabetes is another one that we have just started to make progress on. Also spinal cord injuries that leave people paralyzed need to be investigated further. HIV/AIDS for which there is a lot of medication to keep it from progressing. There are also some not as common diseases like Crohn’s Disease and Cystic Fibrosis that people are doing research on but they are not curable. Generally there is a lot of work to be done but scientists are doing a good job. The progress made the past decades is amazing

      Zena, you think too small.
Immortality, teleportation, faster than light travel…
      You name it!
