a passion! The study of living things, how they worked, how we can understand the processes behind and ultimately apply the knowledge gained to improve health, protect the environment and so on 🙂

Mathematics provides the logical foundation for our reasoning.
Physics applies math in order to describe the very building blocks of our universe.
Chemistry applies physics to combine those basic building blocks into compounds that form our world.
Biochemistry takes the largest chemical compounds and lets them interact with each other.
Biology finally assembles complex systems of chemicals and proteins in order to create life. -
