        We already do, people who work on the international scape station are living in space!

        To some extent astronauts already live in space, even if for just a few months.
        People can’t live in space for too long because the lack of gravity affects the body in weird ways. Maybe in the future the technology will allow people to live in space.

        Yeah, what the others wrote.

        The big question is whether we could have a self-sustaining colony off earth. Could we make the supplies we needed, especially food, water and air? This is easier on a planet or moon than in space. We’re going to have to have a base on the moon or an asteroid, then use that for future space missions, unless we find a much less expensive way to get on and off earth.

        Yeah, we do. I don’t like the look of the living though. Can’t really go cycling, rock climbing or swimming up there yet…
