  I wondered if you’d follow up after our chat.
  
  I loved the idea of having power over people, I liked the mystical symbols and history, and I had a creepy incident when I was in high school using the ‘spell’ from Macbeth (like the three witches in the play).
  
  I later treated it like a scientist (really) and did tests. They weren’t perfect because it wasn’t double blinded, but I couldn’t see an effect.
  
  To say I don’t believe isn’t completely true. I don’t have evidence that it works, and I can’t find a mechanism by which it could work, but I try to have an open mind about these things.
