        Hello and Happy Friday (yay!)

        One thing I’m really proud of (from science, anyway) is my work on artificial opal materials. I have some pictures at the end of my profile http://ias.im/u.108462

        First, they’re really beautiful. They’re shimmering with colour that changes depending on how you look at it. When you look closely, they look like honeycombs, and I love bees. And we think you can use them to do computer processing using light instead of electricity.
