For my GCSE and Alevels i made large A3 posters of all my notes and stuck them everywhere around the house. If i ever forgot something, it was so easy to look up. I am not sure how much surrounding myself with the stuff helped and wonder if it was more important that i tried to make notes, write them down in a new order and made posters from them. I would try to use all your senses, make sure you read write and listen. Try to always recall things. In the shower, try to remember the reactivity series. If you can’t, look it straight up. I did loads of ‘revision’ just walking to the bus or in the shower, just trying to think about the subject.

Practicing questions is great for an exam…

      Hi hilly_55

I like mind maps: like what Andy suggested, but connecting the dots a bit more.

I also like writing my questions on cards and looking at them every day. If you know the answer you move it to a new pile that you look at once a week. If you miss one in the “once a week” pile, you move it back to the daily pile. This way, you revise what you don’t know more than what you do.

I think just writing out the questions and answers helps a lot, too!

      Chris

I think that flash cards are great, either make paper ones or you can get apps.
