      Hi!

      Chemistry.

I still like the fire + explosions + colour bits. A lot of chemistry isn’t like that, but I know that the exciting bits are what inspired me.

very carefully done science that is very detailed and clever, using all the modern innovations and pieces of equipment but is also motivated my doing something useful for the world

I’m on the microbiology cheering squad!!! Viruses and bacteria are pretty awesome. Where else can you find little creatures that eat weird stuff like oil so they can clear up oil spills or ones that eat flesh like zombies?? Go team micro!!!

      Hi!

Chemistry is for sure my favourite!

There are so many cool experiments to try and even if we don’t realise it, chemistry is a really important aspect of our everyday life.
Our bodies work because of chemical reactions, when you cook food you are doing chemical reactions, cars can move around thanks to chemical reactions and so many more things involve chemistry!

      Jess.

I think Chemisty… But it’s a hard choice. A lot of the best science happens when lots of scientists from differnt backgrounds work together. In my lab we have mathematicians, computer scientists, geologists, chemists, biochemists, microbiologists, cell biologists, microscopists… I could go on!
