Recently I gave discovered a new way to make a brand new plastic with very interesting properties and also a new chemical which might help doctors see inside the body using special scanners

      Hi LCT_piggy

I’ve made a couple. First, check out the pictures at the bottom of my profile page: http://ias.im/u.108462
These are called inverse opals. They can control how light moves through them. I thought that they could be used for processing with light rather than electricity (like in computers).

I also found a way to make enzymes for fuel cells (devices that take chemical energy and turn it into electrical energy) work for as long as batteries. I had to stop the experiment because I had algae growing in my test tank!

      Hi,

I helped to find a protein that sticks to cancer cells but not other cells, it could be used to make better cancer treatments!

      I’m still working on more!
