        Graphene, its a single layer of carbon atoms, attached together in a hexagonal array. It’s about as close to 2D as we can get, it still has a thickness of about 3.35 angstroms thats 335/ 1,000,000,000,000 meters so really tiny! You can make it by pulling the graphite that you find in your pencil into thiner and thiner layers using sellotape.
