        I work with antibiotics which in this case are chemicals not proteins. Antibiotics kill r stop bacteria growing. There are some types of polypeptide antibiotics which are still not proteins but are similar

        Hi,
        The proteins we make self assemble to build things, but at the nanoscale ( so really tiny). I make 100 nanometer (you could fit 200 across the width of your hair) cages, we fill them with drugs to treat diseases like cancer.
