      Dear ZZZOMBIE (rawr!) and Sophie

I loved science (especially chemistry) from when I was about 7. I got my dad’s old chemistry kit, one that still had dangerous things in it. I tried to make a fireproof material. I planned to make a million dollars from my great paint. It didn’t work. 😳

      Hi,

      thank you for your question!

I have been interested in science since I was really young. For my 8th birthday my parents got me a really cool microscope (I still have it and it’s still working) and I spent a lot of time trying to see cells of all kinds. I was more of a biologist back then!!

      Jess.

From a very early age I think. My mum was a science technician for a while and she got me into colour changing liquids and fizzing solutions. I think if you have an interest in how anything really works you have an interest in science.

Hey guys! Thanks for the question. I was interested in conservation right from when I was little and watching David Attenborough! That lead to a love of biology and then I found microbiology. I think I have always had a scientific mind, asking lots of questions and trying to figure stuff out!

I’ve always loved doing experiments and testing my ideas. But I don’t think I really started to love science at school until I was about 14.
