        Hi Ben

Yes, I have! I’m very proud to say. I have investigated the microbiome of a hospital. A microbiome is a collection of bacteria in one place, so like a gut microbiome, a skin microbiome or in my case, an environmental microbiome. I found some bacteria that might be harmful to sick people (but not to healthy people) and therefore the cleaning policy was changed in that area.

        Hi Ben,

        Wow, that’s so cool Nikki!
I don’t really know I worked on a drug that is being used in a clinical trial. The trial is in patients who are dying from cancer, they tried all the known treatments, but they didn’t work, so they are trying our new drug. Some people have shown improvement but it’s too early to know exactly why and if it is because of the new drug or not.
