      Hey Beth – I agree about the videos, I’m not a fan of those. But if you listen to the album tracks they’re mostly about empowerment of women and women succeeding in traditionally male environments. I can definitely connect with that. I also like the way that she’s not afraid to use the same kind of language as male rappers – like Eminem. I’m not saying that I would talk like her (!) but I appreciate the way she’s levelling the playing field.

      From what I’ve seen/heard, the videos are fluff for the general pop public, but the album tracks are more personal. Maybe I’m over interpreting things.
