• Question: what is the most reactive element in the periodic table out of zinc and aluminium ?

      Hi Ella – neither zinc or aluminium is very reactive. Zinc is similar to magnesium in some ways (magnesium is pretty reactive) and it can have a strong reaction with steam. Aluminium doesn’t have any spectacular reactions but it oxidises (reacts with oxygen) easily and forms an oxide quickly.

      They’re both a bit rubbish at being reactive. I think Zinc might be slightly more so.
