  Studying astrophysics, the most thought provoking realisation is how far away everything is. For example, the furthest galaxy away from us is so far away, that when we see the light from it, we’re actually seeing it as it was 13 BILLION years ago (since it’s over 13 billion light years away). That is just mind blowing. The universe is so big, you can hardly comprehend it!
