      The person, or the spacecraft?

      The person was a 17th century German astronomer who proposed some fundamental laws which govern planetary motion.

      The spacecraft is a big space telescope, launched in 2009, which was designed to spot exoplanets. It has found about 1000 exoplanets so far.
